that will show the current amount of file storage being used, whereas the breakdown graph you shared shows the maximum usage during the day so it makes sense that that would still be high for the day even after you deleted the files, but i would expect that to go down on the next day's data point

@FleetAdmiralJakob 🗕 🗗 🗙 we're still working on the change to automatically delete storage when someone is removed! the storage should be deleted instantly, but it may take some time for it to get reflected on the dashboard

Hey @FleetAdmiralJakob 🗕 🗗 🗙 , thank you for reporting, we're looking into the days that show 0 storage. For the discrepancy you mentioned, we use binary megabytes/gigabytes, so the conversion is 1024 MB = 1 GB. In this case, 1149.33 MB gets converted to 1.12 GB.

How to understand database bandwidth
One thing to note is that database bandwidth and database storage get rounded up to the nearest KB per document so it's probably not worth optimizing at the bytes level.

are you able to see better error messages from the dashboard logs for these new errors? and just to clarify, was dusty caterpillar the same deployment you were originally seeing
Transient error while executing action in the dashboard logs for? in the previously reported case, there should be a more helpful user error message now about making sure you await your promises. i'm currently not seeing any relevant internal errors that match up to the timeline for yesterday, so my guess is that the disconnections are a different issue.11 replies
