Convex x Better Auth - Any luck with SSO?

The app I'm building currently uses Auth0, but after realizing how much out of the box functionality Better Auth comes with with plugins (e.g. API keys!), we are heavily considering switching to Better Auth,
One issue: this documentation regarding the "Convex + Better Auth" integration plugin says that the Better Auth sso plugin is not supported.
Is this really true? Is there no way to integrate Better Auth sso with convex? Has anyone had any luck using SSO with a Better Auth + Convex set up?
