Claude Code Agent & Skills for Convex
I've been using Claude Code for Convex development and got tired of re-explaining the same patterns. So I built a skill pack that gives Claude deep Convex knowledge out of the box.
What it does: Drop the .claude folder into your project and Claude instantly knows Convex best practices - queries,
mutations, schemas, the component ecosystem, auth patterns, and more.
Skills included:
- convex - Core patterns (functions, database, validation, scheduling, file storage, search)
- convex-agent - AI agents with persistent threads, streaming, and tool calling
- convex-components - Rate Limiter, Aggregate, Workflow, Workpool, Presence, Migrations, Stripe, Resend...
- convex-auth - Universal auth patterns
- convex-clerk - Clerk integration + webhooks
- convex-workos - WorkOS AuthKit setup
Also includes a convex-expert agent that auto-activates when working in the convex/ directory.
Built this for myself but figured the community might find it useful. PRs welcome if you want to add patterns or improve
