Agentic, multimodal PR Reviews

Hey đź‘‹

I built https://spool.sh !

Spool is a demo-driven, agentic PR review tool that evaluates your demo with the actual code changes to verify your understanding of what you're shipping. It helps you build confidence in code you maybe didn't entirely author yourself. The idea is to take you from "claude built this" to "claude built this, and I vouch for it".

I used a bunch of Convex features: internal functions for admin/debugging, migrations, the agent component, Cloudflare R2 component, and Convex Auth with GitHub OAuth (had initially used the WorkOS component but keeping it simple for now—will add back later).
This is the biggest thing I've built with Convex, and it's certainly non-trivial—webhook ingestion, multiple third-party APIs, agent workflows, embeddings, video processing, etc. Honestly, I'm more sold on Convex after building something sizeable than I was from smaller applications.

More about why I built it, and some backstory here: https://x.com/jvredbrown/status/2016345731624251673

Stop shipping code you don't understand. Spool verifies that AI-generated PRs do what you think they do before you merge.

No nitpicking. Spool confirms that your intent matches the code's real behavior. If there's a gap in your understanding of what you're shipping, you'll know.
