Better deno.json support

currently when i try to run convex with deno and a deno.json file at the root convex throws a error about not being able to locate a package.json file. I would just like convex to recognize that i have a deno project and my dependencies can be found in deno.json. I will admit i could just use a package.json file because deno supports it. I just really like my deno.json.
