Polar.sh events tracking
Wanting to use Polar for the sales tax MoR reasons. part of what i want to do is suited for usage-based pricing. the polar docs themself show ingesting events with metadata and setting up meters to bill the customers. I have not seen how/if the convex component has sending events to polar built in. i dont think it has. there only is a warning about single purchases and that the component is made for subscriptions. but no note about usage based billing. the only times events are mentioned on the component page are about webhook events for syncing subscription data with convex.
Or is the expectation that i install the polar sdk additionally.
tagging this as bug report, thats the closest thing to a missing warning about usage based pricing
and as a feature request because i would like if it could do this.
Or potentially it can and i missed how to do it when reading, the documentation ai just said to use Autum. Which is not a MoR (as far as i understood)
