ClarityText: Online community platform for businesses
Hey there,
I'm Matt, a Convex champion for the past couple of years.
Let me introduce my project, ClarityText (https://www.claritytext.com/), a chat-based community platform. Our goal is to provide businesses with an easy way to run a professional-looking chat presence.
We think ClarityText is a good fit for businesses that need a longer time to develop trust with prospective customers. For example, complex products with a long feedback loop, or professional services based on the credibility of individual people.
Our general roadmap is to create a complete solution for the key pieces of an online community:
1) Members use a familiar UX, similar to Discord or Slack.
2) Anyone on the Internet can discover the chat content, e.g. Links to chat that don't require login, background jobs that use chat history to generate SEO-optimized webpages. (Convex uses AnswerOverflow for this).
3) Easy search, with both full text search and AI-powered search. (Convex uses Kapa for this).
We hope business-focused projects in the Convex community will consider creating a chat space in ClarityText. It's an easy way to supplement a website, deepen an online presence, and accumulate authority on the Internet over time.
