WhatsApp Based AI Assistant

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing good, I built using convex https://closeby.tel which is an AI assistant you can chat with directly in WhatsApp with a real phone number, you can program it to send you reminders / messages automatically at certain moments of the day and I'll be adding more features such as habit tracking, audio and images input, etc. If you want to try it out DM me so I can provide you with 100% discount codes, I would love to have your feedback, critiques, suggestions, or even if you want to join me to work on this! It was originally made for the TanStack hackathon but I started pretty late and didn't have time to submit sadly.

A phone number rented on Twilio and owner by the website, for now the website (I) own only one so all cusotmers get the same but the backend is compatible and can give different phone numbers for customers if I ever rent new ones I didn't get what you mean by porting phone numbers and your first question ? Could you please re-explain it ?

You mean receive from ? You rent it for 1.50$ a month and then you pay for each message you send / receive

Oh I see I’m actually building something that will require WhatsApp texts but it will not bots to chat rather templated emails. Have you built an API?

For receiving and sending it is just an http webhook and an http request to reply back

But the annoying thing is twilio's documentation which is a bit of a mess
