No, I didn't miss it. I just don't know how to respond after reading the details you shared. I don't use server side code in any of my apps, so that paradigm is foreign to me. In the cases where I use Convex HTTP actions, I'm using the token authentication mentioned in that thread you originally referenced. This has worked fine for my use cases. Even though the HTTP action is technically "public," the token auth effectively keeps anyone else from being able to use it even if they discover the endpoint. I haven't looked into any other alternatives and don't have the bandwidth to do so at the moment, so I kinda feel like I'm at the end of my ability to contribute meaningfully to the conversation.
