Storage URL persisting after account downgrade
In my account (when on the PRO plan), I setup a subdomain for storage. I've recently downgraded, but Convex is still pointing to my old storage URL and I can't change it. Are you able to remove the URL for me as it didn't get removed automatically in the downgrade.

When you say subdomain for storage, do you mean a custom domain for http actions?
Yes, when you're on the PRO plan you're able to set a custom domain for HTTP actions (I was using it for storage). Now that the plan has expired, Covex still thinking i'm using the domain (api.myapp.com), but I'm not anymore, and now all my http actions are broken. I need the domain name removed manually from my convex account since it wasn't purged in the downgrade. Can you help me? Who should I send my app details to?
Someone will get back to you soon on this.
Thank you. I'm a little desperate because all my http actions are failing 🙁
What's the deployment name
for production that is. it'll look like
adjective-animal-123Awesome! It's artful-mink-236
Hi Bruce, I understand the issue, talking with the team now to figure out how to change this.
Bruce, this is an interesting one, one option would be to re-upgrade, remove the connection, I'd be happy to refund the charge as soon as you are done. That seems a little clunky so I totally understand if that isn't available.
I'm going to talk to someone oncall and see if we can figure out a clean way to remove this, it just isn't something I've dealt with before.
Okay - thank you! I can upgrade and downgrade again if needed, but if you can remove this in your backend, then that would be great.
Working on it now, if we can't get a solution quickly i'll let you know and we can do the upgrade/downgrade.
Small update here, an engineer is working on it, should have more information shortly.
Thanks Graham. I appreciate it!
Okay, i know this is being worked on but I don't have a good estimate on time, I assume an hour or so, I'm about to get pulled into some meetings for a bit so I won't be able to update you, but as soon as I have more info I'll add it here.
Sounds good - thank you.
Hi Bruce, I'm talking with one of the engineers right now, are you still having this issue?
Is it possible it's for a different deployment.
Can you tell me the domain name that is in use?
Yes, I'm still having the issue. Can I email you so I'm not disclosing that on Discord?
Oh yes, can you email support@convex.dev ? I'll grab the ticket as soon as it comes in.
Received!
Bruce: Wrote you an email with the resolution.
@erquhart -> For the future, there is no product fix right now, but there will be some fixes in the near future.
@Bruce Banner -> Just to follow up, let me know when you've completed removing everything. I want to make sure everything is working again. Sorry this was a little less than smooth, it's a part of moving to a free plan that didn't cover all the corner cases and we'll make some changes in the near future.
