What are the most well known apps that run on Convex?
Could anyone please share any high-traffic or well known production apps that curently run on Convex? Trying to make a business case to the "suits" here 🙂

- Provide context: What are you trying to achieve, what is the end-user interaction, what are you seeing? (full error message, command output, etc.)
- Use search.convex.dev to search Docs, Stack, and Discord all at once.

The creators have mentioned a few times in the past that they're reluctant to announce the names of high-profile companies that use Convex. From what I recall, the main reason given is that they don't feel it's right to use those company names for marketing purposes without receiving permission from them first. When people begin using Convex, there's no agreement signed giving Convex that permission. Until that happens, they're treating those relationships with great care and respect, which includes not divulging any names.
That said, there are a few exceptions. In a broad sense, they've shared the names of some startups who are using Convex on the Convex for Startups page, likely because there is some kind of agreement in place in each case.
Aside from that, the most public service that I'm aware of that the Convex team does talk about is T3 Chat. Theo is also very public with his praise for Convex (both the product and the team), so there's likely an agreement of some kind there as well.
Noted - thank you for the reponse. I'm trying to use this to sort of judge the scalability and long term viability of relying on Convex. Appreciatet the input!
Happy to help. I do recall that Jamie has said in a generic sense that some of the biggest customers have millions of documents in Convex. Not sure if that could help at all. As for long-term viability, the team is definitely aiming for that. I feel like the recent partnership with Planetscale is evidence of that.
