but the banner is still there

Hmmm. The docs say that the old Node version may still be used for "a few minutes" after pushing the change, but that's kinda nebulous.
Have you tried logging out of the dashboard and logging back in? Maybe that'll force it to check and refresh some internal reference driving that banner.
just tried logging back in and still see the banner
Hi @adam, I checked internally and you need to have the latest Convex NPM version (Convex 1.26.2) for the Node version setting to be taken into account. We’ll update the documentation to make this clearer
