Convex region question
Is there a way to choose the region of a convex app? I am asking in the context of eu data locality regulations.

- Provide context: What are you trying to achieve, what is the end-user interaction, what are you seeing? (full error message, command output, etc.)

The region is currently locked to US East (specifically us-east-1). New regions are coming, with EU being the first, though the rollout timeline is TBD. Please keep an eye on #announcements for more details.
I will take a shoot here...
As a background, I quoted my next project with Convex insted of AWS (amplify) but it falls under GDPR. We are expecting a go live late November.
Do you thin TBD has any chance of being in this timeframe? or is more something like 2026?
I reflected a bit if I post this question, but somehow I got good vibes now :))
The thing is that Convex would save 10-20% of work and provide a single Saas for my client instead of multiple AWS services glued toghether...

The impression that I get from comments in the latest AMA is that they want to roll out the EU region sooner rather than later. Purely as a gut feeling (I'm not on the inside), I don't think we'll be waiting 'til 2026 for it.
