Buildifyo - Building Materials Marketplace
Buildifyo is a marketplace designed to help users buy and sell construction and building materials online within their city.
- For buyers: You can browse all building material stores in your city, search for specific products, and place orders directly with the store of your choice.
- For sellers/store owners: You can set up your online store on Buildifyo, add your products, and start selling materials citywide. The platform provides a complete CMS to manage your products, orders, and track store performance through a dedicated dashboard.
- Payments: Buildifyo won't support online payments— all financial transactions will be offline and managed by Buyers & Stores independently.
How it works: Buildifyo’s primary goal is to connect buyers and sellers. Here’s the basic flow:
1. Buyers explore nearby store catalogs
2. Add products to their cart (a cart for each pair of buyer & store)(max 10 carts/user)
3. Place an order with the selected store
4. The store receives the order and contacts the buyer directly by phone
5. Order details are discussed, and the store dispatches the products
6. Payment is made by the buyer at the time of delivery
(Automating the delivery process with a third-party provider is possible in the future, but not for now.)
Note:
This project is not PERFECT & It can Break. It’s just my first full-stack project, built entirely from scratch. I’m sharing it here to get ur feedback & suggestions, becoz I won't be able to work on it further for now coz of limited resources(both time & money). Still, this is a project I’ve wanted to create for a long time, & I believe it can become a valuable solution, especially for users in INDIA. It addresses the challenge of finding right building materials at the right price without the hassle of visiting multiple stores.
