i was also currently trying to combine convex and effect in a small personal project
confect seems to work well
that is @RJ 's project, FYI
I haven't posted about it in a little while, but although it's still pre-1.0, I've been using it in production for many months now and am committed to continuing to maintain it. I've also been (very slowly) making progress on some exciting changes for a 1.0 release 🙂
