EEmailChef: AI-Powered Gmail Automation with Convex Magic
I've always loved the idea of automating Gmail with AI, my inbox is a complete mess filled with cold emails, newsletters, and marketing junk.
That’s why I built EmailChef:
- It can reply to emails, delete useless emails, and categorize subscription emails into a clean, readable table.
Under the hood:
Using Unipile for Gmail integration (love their API-key auth).
Google Gemini is my LLM powering the AI brains.
Convex Workflows for handling background tasks (was planning to use Inngest at first, but Convex's native workflows were too tempting not to try).
AI SDK to tie everything together.
