Handling Big Data using PostgreSQL

I am new to Convex and I have recently self hosted using PostgreSQL database on local machine.
I am analyzing the database and as I understand Convex is storing all documents (all tables data) in single documents table.
What is the recommended way to handle big data with Convex?
How can I use/create PostgreSQL partitioned tables with Convex?
