Latest video is up! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WA_acpyoCDU I went for a bit of a different style with this one, attempting to play on the "Educator" vibe a bit. Also trying to explain how Embeddings and Vector Search on Convex work. Let me know if you think I did a good job or not here, or if I should just return to the more "normal" style πŸ˜›

Hey Mike, thanks for this! Seems like you had a ton of fun. I did too, engaging all the way through! Some things for consideration for the next one that may help make even better: - Consider adding captions, surprisingly a s#!t ton of videos watched with no sound, even types like this one, I tried but couldn't see em on there - IMO, your mug should always be visible, even if collapsed to lower corner or something when full screen overlays/graphics (check out Tella.tv for some examples), no idea how the editing works but seems like quite the elaborate piece you got here - I think you're on to something with the approach, may consider something similar along the lines of naysayers like me who always have a gripe vs. the classroom, although gotta say the characters were fun - In this segment, although you addressed it, I got confused a bit around the 3:07 mark as an AI luddite when I saw cats returned, maybe in the future you could add a fun "wait for it" or something in the overlay just to keep me more hooked I think you rocked it, I had fun, short sweet, edutaining. That's the future!

Hey @sam really appreciate the feedback! Im constantly trying to improve my craft and this one was a bit of an experiment.

You mean other than the ones supplied by Youtube? I would but I have had others say that they are distracting. Long-form videos generally dont have embedded ones but I do use captions for all my short-form ones.
IMO, your mug should always be visible, even if collapsed to lower corner or something when full screen overlays/graphics (check out Tella.tv for some examples), no idea how the editing works but seems like quite the elaborate piece you got here
Ye I have flip-flopped on this for my videos over the past couple of months. I think it depends on the tone of the video. But noted thanks for the input πŸ™‚

Haha thanks πŸ™‚ Ye ill see how the video does. I think TBH tho that its not going to do well until we have a larger audience. I think right now the most views im going to get are going to come from jumping on some search term.

Noted, thanks πŸ™‚

Thanks for getting back to me. - My bad! For some reason, my YT captions weren't working so there were none. Was probably a me thing for sure. - I'm pretty sure if you continue to focus on good content, like you are, the views will come. Edutainment angle is the way. Keep on rocking it!

Maybe it just takes a day or two for them to show up? Thanks mate really appreciate the support, its a continually evolving things for me. Being on camera is not something that comes particularly naturally to me so building confidence that people are watching and enjoying it is a big help πŸ™‚
