npx convex deploy does not send my dev data including files to production
Why does running npx convex deploy not send over my tables from my dev instance and files to the production instance?

Reminder: If you have a Convex Pro account, use the Convex Dashboard to file support tickets.
- Provide context: What are you trying to achieve, what is the end-user interaction, what are you seeing? (full error message, command output, etc.)

They are separate deployments - this allows you to iterate and develop and change your data in
dev without then blowing away data in prod when you deploy.
If you want a one-time data transfer, you can do npx convex export from dev and npx convex import --prod with that same dataAwesome thank you!
If we have to shift to production permanently from the development instance, what is the process?
export and import your data, export and import your env variables,
update any env vars in your build process (e.g. NEXT_PUBLIC_CONVEX_URL or CONVEX_DEPLOYMENT_KEY)
