How to allow pass args that have unknown args and make the validator just ignore them but make sure what is requested is in there?

That is not allowed at the moment. what you can do is use v.record where you allow all properties.
v.record(v.string(), v.any())
Thanks. That's what I figured. Instead, I've been less lazy and made sure to pass exactly what the validator expects so I keep type safety.
