Is convex capable to handle facebooks like traffic?
This question is merely experimental and just to check the intuition what convex is capable and what not.

so, scaling is a process and not a state (happy to answer more about that, I don't want to be overly general, and I'm not trying to avoid answering)
so a detailed answer is: (a) convex's team is very very good at scaling and has scaled applications up to 10s of millions of reads per second in the past
(b) Convex's architecture, has been designed to be compatible to scale it up to a few million transactions per second per deployment over time. though this will require years and a much larger team to pull off, so we're sort of "staying just ahead of our biggest customers" as we go
currently, a single Convex deployment on the current hardware classes we common put pro accounts on can support low-thousands of writes per second and close to 10,000 reads per second. possibly more or less, depending on cache hit rate
but we invest in scaling and benchmarking every quarter to make that number go up as we get busier sites, so it's a constant moving target
hopefully that answers the question!
Appreciate sharing the insights, thats fully satisfies my current curiosity.
