Problems with Convex Stack Search
On Android in Edge the search on the convex stack does not work. It always randomly removes some of the first characters of my search query

If I switch to the Desktop View on my phone the search works again properly
Thanks for the report! Sorry about that
Np, im rly happy to have this place to report these issues
And luckily I were able to fix this issue on my side somehow
@FleetAdmiralJakob 🗕 🗗 🗙 we tested it on a few android devices on Edge via BrowserStack and didn't see any issues - can you give some more info about your setup?
A Samsung device with edge version 123 and android version 14 and on the stack.convex.dev if I tap on the search bar (in mobile view) and type something with the standard samsung keyboard in random characters (most of the time from the start) get removed.
UPDATE: Same behaviour on Chrome (same device) version 124
thanks!
Tested it on the same device for the Samsung Internet Browser v25 but I wasnt able to reproduce the issue there
The closest test device we've found uses Android 13 and Chrome 123. Still no luck getting this to repro, unfortunately. The search view opens as expected when clicking on the search bar, and we're not seeing any characters lost when typing with the on-screen keyboard.

hmm, wtf.
on stack.convex.dev? search.convex.dev works
My Samsung Keyboard Settings

I just type in random characters and then delete and after a while (or instantly) its truly fully random characters disappear
We're updating our algolia version so hopefully it's a bug fixed in there
Tested it today, but not working
