Inspiration
We wanted to create an app where people can communicate with each other to build anything but also summon AI to help em out a little
What it does
Create a real time canvas where users can create any node that can do anything, then other people and ai can join the fun and create and connect different nodes creating a remix of ideas
How we built it
Convex for backend, React for frontend
Challenges we ran into
Convex was great at handling real time perfectly, we had some hiccups on reconciling saved data with staged nodes
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Making this app made us realize that the idea is solid and fun
What we learned
We are going to use convex full time moving forward.
What's next for Syantro
Build it so that any node can run arbitrary code, this could be website data or any other code. Create communities around canvases aka subreddits/subcanvases
