Spending limits?
I'm considering upgrading to paid plan from starter, but I would only consider that if there is a guaranteed ceiling on monthly spend. Is this currently an option?

Hey @cyremur, not yet, but we do ignore a single day with spiked usage, for cases like accidental infinitely looping scheduled function or being under DOS attack.
This would be pretty important. Especially after seeing this video.

The price spike problem of Netlify, Vercel, and other modern tech startups is terrifying. I don't love how the narrative around all of this has gone though. Thought it was worth breaking down.

For now if you run into something unexpectedly strange just reach out to us. But spend limits is something we've discussed internally but haven't been able to prioritize yet. Thanks for your paitience!
Over the last year or so we've actually had a couple of customers that "went viral" unexpectedly and we normally just work it out. I do want to have the feature soon for you to be able to set hard limits and have stronger guarantees... but until then, we'll just work with the developer to make sure things don't get out of hand when this happens. Bankrupting indie developers is not exactly the way to win all your hearts, so we have no interest in doing it. 😄
Ok. Thanks for the response. I appreciate it. And feel better moving forward.
