Happy Holidays folks! We wanted to get one last feature release out before the year ended.
Highlights:
* Full text search now does prefix and fuzzy search. There is no new API, just upgrade to 1.7 for the new behavior.
* Improved database snapshot format. You can now backup and restore

Exciting stuff!
I wonder what it would be like to have API access to exports (both the generation and contents of). If that existed, I could imagine setting up a system for seeding dev/preview deployments with production data.
Is this a use case you all have considered/are interested in supporting?
I'm planning on doing exactly this in CI via the CLI, which I expect most folks seeding preview deployments will do as well.
I don't see a CLI command for exporting; are you planning on just manually saving the export occasionally and making it accessible to CI somehow?

Yep. For now it's limited to a manual export from the dashboard and a CLI import to dev or prod deployment. We wanted to get the fundamentals of the format out first. We'll be adding more conveniences on how to access this over time.
Being able to export all tables at once with id/timestamp preservation and virtually no size limit is massive. As is the new search functionality! I’m so deep into refactoring that I can’t actually try any of it yet, but I can’t wait.
