`Error: Socket connection timeout` when running `npx convex login`
Hi everyone. I started using convex recently and I absolutely love the experience and the end to end type-safety. Having said that, I have grown really frustrated with
npx convex login and npx convex dev. Every time I run the commands, I get the socket timeout error. My internet connection is fine, I have about 90mpbs uplink and downlink. I am not entirely sure what I am doing wrong. I have tried switching terminals as well to see if that would solve the issue. I really want to continue using Convex and I am hoping that I am the problem in this situation. I would really appreciate it if anyone could help with this. Thank you in advance ❤️.1 Reply
Sorry to hear that… that sounds frustrating. No chance it’s a firewall issue? Have you tried on a vpn?
