Local backend
Would convex every be able to be can locally? Like maybe in a docker container? That way we could develop locally and test the limits of querying without worrying about reading a million rows for fun then running out of execution hours for the month?

yep as @mikeysee and @erquhart have mentioned we're going to be open sourcing some major portion of our backend and we're planning to work on this in our upcoming dev cycle
it'll include enough functionality to be able to run locally and use it for testing etc
we haven't confirmed this but it will very likely be a single binary and not the big scale-out distributed system that hosted convex is. this means it'll be functional for local use but likely not the kind of thing you want to run a business on in a docker container
yeah that makes sense, as convex wants to make $ and stay a cloud service. But good to know your working on it. Looking forward to the release
