I would like to replace Clerk. Have all the user data within Convex
and that would be less dependencies, less things to maintain. A more cohesive setup
I am willing to build my own signup/signin screens. For transactional emails I could use resend... Although if convex takes care of that too then even better

+1, I love Clerk, but don't love having a separate system. If your needs are simple, it's overkill. I may need more in the future, but the lock-in is a tough proposition, especially for something as critical as user identification info. Keeping the lock-in limited to Convex would be aces.
